Main responsibilities
As a Mason, you carry out the various masonry works on COMODO’s construction sites in Luxembourg and Belgium. You work on both new-build projects and renovation works, in line with plans, technical guidelines, safety rules, and the quality standards expected by the company.
In this role, your tasks will include:
- Preparing and organizing your workstation;
- Carrying out general masonry work;
- Building walls, partitions and other structures using bricks, blocks, breeze blocks or other materials;
- Carrying out foundations, slabs, screeds and concrete structures;
- Preparing and applying mortar, concrete and other required materials;
- Carrying out formwork and taking part in reinforcement (rebar) work;
- Making openings and carrying out modifications and repairs on existing structures;
- Carrying out masonry renovation and repair work;
- Reading and following plans, levels, alignments and technical instructions;
- Checking the quality of completed work and ensuring clean, neat finishes;
- Correctly using the tools, machinery and equipment provided;
- Keeping the site and equipment clean and in good condition;
- Following the instructions of the team leader or site manager;
- Strictly complying with safety rules and wearing personal protective equipment.
Candidate profile
- You ideally have training in masonry or construction;
- You have experience in masonry, structural work or renovation;
- You master the main masonry and concrete techniques;
- Knowledge of formwork and reinforcement (rebar) is an asset;
- You are able to understand and follow plans and technical instructions;
- You work with precision and place great importance on the quality of the work;
- You work independently while enjoying teamwork;
- You are versatile, punctual, reliable and organized;
- You respect instructions and safety rules.
